Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you woke up to perfect skin, bright and awake eyes that are free of eye wrinkles? Unfortunately, this wish has yet to come true! With this in mind, eye patches are a great alternative to cooling agents such as cucumbers and tea bags. Left on for about 20 minutes, they work to soothe, moisturize and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and puffiness. Here are some great eye patches I have tried. I have selected 3, with varying price ranges, depending upon your budget!
MD Skincare Instant Beautification Eye Area Firming Patch 6 pairs. This, by far is my favorite eye area firming patch. This patch works to pull water from underneath the skin to the surface, which in turns, helps to plump. The patch also works to reduce eye puffiness
. They are extremely easy to apply and you only need to use them twice a week, AM or PM!
As soon as the patch is remove, you will instantly see a reduction in eye wrinkles and creases. They patches give your skin the intense moisture, vitamins and antioxidants it needs to help skin growth, build collagen and reduce eye wrinkles in the long-term. You can find 6 treatments of this product for $69.

Thalgo Wrinkle Control Eye Patch Mask ($54) I like Thalgo because they base their products on marine algae and other riches of the sea for aesthetic uses! It’s an extremely natural product that works to smooth out your eye contour, while reducing the appearance of eye wrinkles
and fine lines. Thalgo’s patches hydrate, repair and soothe your entire eye area! You can get 10 treatments for $54.

Klorane Cornflower Smoothing and Relaxing Patches for Tired Eyes These eye patches are rich in cornflower, arnica and chamomile extracts. They work to reduce signs of tiredness, whether it is due to lack of sleep or sun exposure. After the patch is taken off, you will see immediate signs of reduced dark circles
, eye puffiness and an over all fresher look. Klorane patches are gentle for sensitive skin, soothe your eye area and work to decongest your eyes. You can get 7 treatments for $18!

If you are looking for an easy-to-use under eye cream that is super easy to apply, then look no further. ColoreScience Eyes Wide Open is a great eye skin care product that brightens and moisturizes the under eye area with an easy-to-use wand applicator.
This eye-lifting serum can reduce puffy eyes in just 20 seconds! With an Azulene base, this creamy baby blue under eye treatment helps to revitalize the eye area creating a softer, smoother appearance.
This 3 in 1 product serves as an eye cream, eye brightener and makeup cleaner! It’s targeted to help puffiness, but also has ingredients to protect your skin from the sun, nourish the eye area and prevent free radicals.
To clean up eye makeup, simply dot on and blend in wherever mistakes were made.
How can you use this eye cream? Be sure to use it sparingly under your eye and extend it outward above your cheekbone. For puffiness, you can apply both in the morning and at night or several times a day to brighten and lift and eye area.
If you have more severe problems, be sure to use this cream in conjunction with other eye serums and concealers. Priced at around $18, it’s a great investment with very positive results.

Puffy Eyes Awaken!

Whatever it is that keeps you up all night long, know that there is a fix for your puffy eyes.
In a local news article this morning, a top makeup expert for Macy’s explains the many ways she would recommend tackling the annoying puffy eyes look:
1. Clarins Concentré Zone Regard for eyes ($78) at Macy’s – treats the whole eye area to get rid of puffy eyes, dark circles and crow’s feet.
2.Trick: place eye creams in fridge for a cooling effect that will aid in relieving bags under eyes
3.Tip: take out contacts before bed
Make eyes look refreshed and wide:
1.Revlon’s cushion grip lash curler ($5.49) at Walgreens. If you have no time for makeup, simply curl your lashes. Your eyelashes will appear long and open your eyes.
2.L’Oreal’s white eyeshadow ($4.49) at Walgreens. Apply the eyeshadow in the corner of your eye on the upper and lower lid. This is my personal favorite puffy eyes tip! It works!
3.Dip cotton balls in ice cold milk and put them on your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes.
4.Clinique’s touch base for eyes ($14.50) at Macy’s. This product can be applied as a natural-looking eyeshadow. It will give the appearance of bigger eyes.
Try these for your next puffy eyes fix and if you want to check out more solutions and best eye creams be sure to check out our online store.
Puffy Eye Procedure: Blepharoplasty

Puffy eye problems are caused by the layer of elastic tissue under the eyes becoming thin as we age and then fat protrudes forward in the form of bags. The main reason puffy eye problems come about with age is due to muscles and ligaments losing their elasticity over time. Most people don’t realize that these under eye bags can also show up in the form of “upper eye bags” or when the upper lid begins to sag, and in some extreme cases, can even obstruct vision.
I hear Blepharoplasty becoming a more popular option lately to get rid of bags under eyes. It is a procedure that can correct both of these puffy eye issues – and more pleasantly than before. The upside to this procedure is that the procedure can be done under a simple local anesthetic, when it is traditionally done with general anesthesia. This allows for more accuracy and faster healing, which a lot of times brings more pleasing results.
The results bring not only a younger, more refreshed look but also the ability to see better as the droopiness (or excess fat) is now gone.
Blend Products to Help with Puffy Eye Problems and Dark Circles

A great new way to get the look you want is by blending products. If you suffer from puffy eye problems and dark circles, you may want to use an eye cream plus a good concealer to do the trick. Sometimes by doubling up on your efforts, you are able to attack the problem much more effectively. A lot of beauty insiders agree, recommending 2 products for your given problem.
For puffy eye issues, try using one of your favorite best eye creams or if you don’t have one, try Garnier’s anti-puff eye roll-on. And then try one of those age-old home remedies like caffeinated tea bags to reduce morning on-the-spot puffiness.
For dark circles, try pairing one of your dark circle creams (a good one to try is Reviva Labs Vitamin K Cream – available at the best eye creams store) with a good concealer. For optimal results you’ll need two concealers: one a shade lighter than your foundation to downplay dark, blue-toned under-eye circles and it will make skin appear brighter. The other should match foundation to help cover red blemishes or broken capillaries. Use a thin makeup brush and apply the concealer to the inner- eye corners first (where circles usually are darkest) and spread it lightly outward.
Ones to try:
For Dark circles: Jane Iredale’s Delete Dark Under Eye Concealer
For puffy eyes: Bioelement’s Multi-Task Eye Creme
For Pimples: Tarte’s Eraser Smooth Concealer with anti-inflammatory arnica
For Dark Circles: Aveda Inner Light concealer made with reflective mica
None of these are too expensive – so have fun and mix up those perfect beauty concoctions!
