Want to grab the latest anti-aging treatment for your puffy eyes and eye wrinkles? Philosophy just put out their new jar of anti-aging formula called Eye Hope.
Specifically designed to target the eye area, Eye Hope can tackle eye wrinkles, reduce puffiness and diminish dark circles.
Most of the Philosophy eye products I’ve tried are fabulous. They’re a bit expensive, but worth it.
In just six weeks, 4 out of 5 people saw significant improvement in fine lines, dark circles, puffiness and smoothness. It provides moisturization to the sensitive skin around the eyes, anti-inflammatory benefits that calm and soothe skin, and light diffusing properties to help brighten skin tone.
Gently apply a small amount with fingertip under and around the eye area after cleansing in the a.m. and p.m. Allow product to absorb fully for 2 minutes prior to applying appropriate treatment and moisturizer.
The reviews on Sephora for Eye Hope are so great that they really caught our eye and we just had to tell you about this new eye treament!

Puffy Eye Procedure: Blepharoplasty

Puffy eye problems are caused by the layer of elastic tissue under the eyes becoming thin as we age and then fat protrudes forward in the form of bags. The main reason puffy eye problems come about with age is due to muscles and ligaments losing their elasticity over time. Most people don’t realize that these under eye bags can also show up in the form of “upper eye bags” or when the upper lid begins to sag, and in some extreme cases, can even obstruct vision.
I hear Blepharoplasty becoming a more popular option lately to get rid of bags under eyes. It is a procedure that can correct both of these puffy eye issues – and more pleasantly than before. The upside to this procedure is that the procedure can be done under a simple local anesthetic, when it is traditionally done with general anesthesia. This allows for more accuracy and faster healing, which a lot of times brings more pleasing results.
The results bring not only a younger, more refreshed look but also the ability to see better as the droopiness (or excess fat) is now gone.
Must-Do Beauty Regimen: Masks!

I recently read an article in Shape Magazine talking about the importance of applying masks three times a week as part of you anti aging and eye skin care regimen. That’s right – 3 times a week!
The latest masks are potent, thick and packed with anti aging ingredients for relief of eye puffiness and dark circles.
“Even though they’re only on your skin for 10-20 minutes, it’s because they’re so thick and heavy that they’re able to penetrate and drive their heavy duty, age-busting ingredients deep within your skin – and quickly”, says Jeanette Graf, M.D., a dermatologist in New York.
Among some of the new, hard-core masks Shape.com recommends are:
1. Aveda Enbrightenment Brightening Intensive Massage Mask (fades dark spots with vitamin c and mulberry root extract)
2. ReVive Masque de Glaise (promotes cell recovery and turnover for relief of those eye bags)
Another mask that I absolutely love (also happens to be by one of my favorite skin care brands) is Juice Beauty’s Green Apple Hydration Mask. (It feels cool and refreshing, also utilizing natural ingredients!)
Masks are great because not only are they fun to put on (by yourself our with some girlfriends), refreshing and revitalizing, but they are great for spot-treating your problem areas.
Blend Products to Help with Puffy Eye Problems and Dark Circles

A great new way to get the look you want is by blending products. If you suffer from puffy eye problems and dark circles, you may want to use an eye cream plus a good concealer to do the trick. Sometimes by doubling up on your efforts, you are able to attack the problem much more effectively. A lot of beauty insiders agree, recommending 2 products for your given problem.
For puffy eye issues, try using one of your favorite best eye creams or if you don’t have one, try Garnier’s anti-puff eye roll-on. And then try one of those age-old home remedies like caffeinated tea bags to reduce morning on-the-spot puffiness.
For dark circles, try pairing one of your dark circle creams (a good one to try is Reviva Labs Vitamin K Cream – available at the best eye creams store) with a good concealer. For optimal results you’ll need two concealers: one a shade lighter than your foundation to downplay dark, blue-toned under-eye circles and it will make skin appear brighter. The other should match foundation to help cover red blemishes or broken capillaries. Use a thin makeup brush and apply the concealer to the inner- eye corners first (where circles usually are darkest) and spread it lightly outward.
Ones to try:
For Dark circles: Jane Iredale’s Delete Dark Under Eye Concealer
For puffy eyes: Bioelement’s Multi-Task Eye Creme
For Pimples: Tarte’s Eraser Smooth Concealer with anti-inflammatory arnica
For Dark Circles: Aveda Inner Light concealer made with reflective mica
None of these are too expensive – so have fun and mix up those perfect beauty concoctions!
